stop killing dogs

WARNING - viewers may find some images in this report disturbing. Animal rights campaigners in China are launching a campaign against the trade in cats for human dietary consumption. For some Chinese cat meat is an acceptable part of their diet. However the campaigners claim that domestic pets are being kidnapped and killed to fuel the roaring trade of moggy meat.
animal testing

animal testing

EVERY year, millions of animals are used in medical and scientific research while millions more are tested to determine the “safety” of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and household products.
In recent years, with the increased protests from animal activists and the tightening of laws controlling the practice in the West, more and more outfits are “outsourcing” their testing or setting up offshore labs in countries where the awareness is lower and the laws are laxer.
Here are some of the animals commonly used in these tests:
Dogs
It can be difficult for people to imagine a fluffy pet suffering in a laboratory, but the reality is, many dogs are used in tests for applied medical research and education. Areas that have benefited include hormonal disorders, cardiology and osteopathic studies. Heart disease is one of the common diseases tested and studied on dogs.
Most dogs used in animal testing are specifically bred for this purpose but many stray ones are increasingly being taken from pounds for testing.
Beagles are the most popular dog breed for animal testing because they are considered an effective model for diseases and conditions in humans.
They are friendly and naturally happy; this lack of aggression makes them useful in animal testing.
The experiments in which beagles are used include experimental surgical and dental procedures as well as toxicology tests of various chemical substances and food.
Cats
Cats are used quite regularly in the field of neurology because their nerve cells can be isolated and obtained from their brain for experiments.
In fact, cats have contributed massively to our knowledge and development of neurological research. However, these experiments are believed to be extremely painful for the cats used.
Fruit fly
Invertebrates like the fruit fly are commonly used in animal testing because of their easy housing and care. Fruit flies are said to be useful in genetics research because their cellular make-up is simple, facilitating researchers’ study of biology and diseases.
Rodents
Rodents, which include rats, mice, guinea pigs and hamsters, are the most commonly used animals in bioscience and product research.
Mice are the most popular rodent because they are cheap to obtain, easy to handle, small and can reproduce rapidly. They are also thought to be a comparable model for human diseases and share most of their genes with humans.
Rabbits
Rabbits, particularly albino rabbits, are commonly used in testing for cosmetics and other chemicals. The main test conducted is the Draize test, which assesses drug toxicity by dropping a substance in the rabbit’s eyes or on their skin, which are then observed for redness, irritation or any other damage. This is said to be a very painful test and the rabbits are usually killed after it is completed.
Fish
It is estimated that around two hundred thousand fish are used for testing per year in the United Kingdom. Zebrafish is said to be the most commonly used in the study of biology and development because they can breed in enormous numbers. They are also quite small and transparent and can be manipulated well by researchers studying disease processes.
Frogs
The frog is one of the earliest animals used in animal tests for biomedical science. Eighteenth century biologist Luigi Galvani discovered the link between electricity and the nervous system through studying frogs. In 1952, Robert Briggs and Thomas Joseph King cloned a frog using a technique that was later used to create Dolly the Sheep. Today, frogs are still used in cloning research and other embryology branches because their early development process is easy to observe due to their “shell-less” eggs.
Non-human primates
Non-human primates are popular test subjects with some scientists due to their likeness to humans. They include several types of monkeys, such as marmosets, baboons, squirrel monkeys and the Cynomolgus Macaque monkeys. Non-human primates are primarily used in toxicology testing as well as to investigate the biology of the human body and treatment of diseases such as AIDS. Another use for non-human primates is psychological testing, including human’s learning behaviour.

Dog Abuse: Poodle named 'Sushi' Forced to Stand

video

This video that's been going around the internet for the past few days makes me sick.

Apparently, the video was and posted online by someone who picked up a pen-drive in a shopping mall in Malaysia containing this clip inside, all of 15 minutes and 7 seconds of it. But the video on Youtube has apparently been removed.

This sorry and skinny excuse for a human being was seen trying to 'train' the poor toy poodle named 'Sushi' to stand on its two hind legs. The moron seemed obsessed with getting the dog to stand on its two hind legs, and was strict about how Sushi must 'stand'. He repeated said in Cantonese, 'Stand Up!', 'Look Up!', 'Stand Up Straight!', '... or I'll PUNCH YOU!!!', and was asking his girlfriend who was filming, 'why his back-bone has no strength?'. The girl can be heard saying in Mandarin, 'Dear, enough, 10 minutes already', and, 'Dear, there is some blood at the mouth...'.

Repeatedly, the poor dog was punched, kicked, strangled, thrown, slammed against the wall, pulled at its leg, slapped, ABUSED. Sushi got so weak from the abuse that, even after it was thrown or sent flying after a punch or kick, it didn't bother trying to get up or run. And at one point, it fell off the small platform it was 'standing' on and was too tired to even get up or move, but instead just waited for the jerk to come back to pick him up and continue the abuse.

From his tattoos, the ring on his finger, and his plain ugliness, the infuriated netizens managed to 'human flesh' him out and tracked down the couple's identity, car license plate number, and even their Facebook profile. The SPCA in both Malaysia and Singapore were alerted to the case and the Malaysian authorities are apparently going to do something about it. I hope this won't end up fizzling out into nothing as both these countries are not known to have strong anti-animal abuse laws.

Pictures in their profile also seems to show that she now has another dog. They have pictures of Sushi as well as their other pets 'standing'. While it seems that Doreen Loo seems to be the girl involved, the identity of the guy has not been confirmed; 'Champ Alan' may or may not be the man in the video. Reports suggest that Sushi the poodle has already died. Well, I'm not surprised at all. I hope Sushi is in a better place now.

Now please take action and go sign the petition to make sure these losers go to jail. It only takes a few minutes, but your soul will thank you for it. God Bless the Human Race...

Look at their 'Human Flesh' activities, track them down!

Help Identify: Man Burned Kitten Alive In Cage

video
Stop Animal Abuse reader Diego Wolf has alerted us of this horrific kitten burning video.

The kitten was first stuffed into a tiny cage, and then brought to a forested area, where it was then doused with some flammable liquid, and then set on fire. The heat was so intense that even the metal-wired cage broke apart. The kitten struggle but could only let out a muted scream before it's whole body was charred.

We have no idea where and when this incident took place, and do not know what language he is speaking. But we hope that, with the collective effort from all animal lovers and the power of the internet, we can track down these evil doers and bring them to justice.

It will not be easy, as the man's face only appeared briefly and partially. But we hope anyone who sees this video can provide some clue and help to flesh out this guy.

Video of Puppy Slammed onto Floor and Beaten

WARNING!!!: Highly Graphic and Disturbing Violence reflecting the true NATURE of mankind!!!

Another sickening video clip of a few guys torturing and beating a poor defenseless puppy.
These trash has no heart, no soul. If you prefer not to watch the clip, just read my description below.
video

First, this loser flung the puppy by its hind leg, slamming it hard against the concrete floor. The poor dog appeared stunned and badly wounded by the impact, as it could barely move and was panting heavily. Something in its backbone or spine could be broken.

As if this is not enough, the group of losers, including the voice of a woman, said that it's still breathing and alive. So they decided to place a firecracker in the dog's nostril and light it up, which they did successfully after a few attempts, the firecracker blowing up in the face of the poor puppy.

By now near death, one of the guys even grabbed a long pole and aimed a few blows onto the neck and chin of the dog, as if playing golf. And finally, he threw the pole across the dog's neck and stepped on the pole...

These black hearted and ugly losers are indeed worse than the most vicious beasts.
I am lost for words.

Kittens Thrown and Stomped on by youth

video
*WARNING* - DISTURBING Real life graphic footage of the UGLY truth of mankind's decadence. Read the write-up below first if you cannot stand the sight of such scenes, or if you are protecting some young minds from this filth.

Another footage of an animal abuser is being widely circulated on the internet. It is reported to have happened in Malaysia, Serdang.

This time, a CCTV camera captured close to 5 minutes footage of a young individual kicking, throwing, and stomping on, and beating with an umbrella, a few kittens near some seemingly deserted shops.

This loser seems to dislike cats as he/she seemed to keep her distance by first flicking the kittens away with an umbrella, before kicking and stomping on them. A more grown up cat appeared to have tried rescuing the kittens but was chased away by the mindless jerk.

Some netizens and Facebook users have successfully tracked down the abuser by her (yes, it's a she, a tomboy) cap and types of clothes that she likes to wear.

no fair fight

No Fair Fight

Animal abuse is not just about physical beatings. Basic mistreatment of pets — putting a cat in a cage that is too small, or not providing enough water for a dog on a hot day — also falls under the category of abuse. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) rescues mistreated and abandoned dogs and cats in the Los Angeles area. In 2006 alone, the organization found homes for about 2,200 animals and taught some 10,000 people how to treat animals more humanely.

bear farming

BEAR FARMING

bear farming Moon bears or sun bears are individually imprisoned in cramped cages and must endure painful bile extractions from their abdomen. The bile is sold for medicinal purposes despite the availability of alternatives. The cages are known as crush cages because they are intolerably tiny or have a metal rack that crushes the bear so it cannot move. The bears endure a lifetime of misery in these claustrophobic cages for up to 20 years. Often they do not have the simple ability to stand up, turn around, or stretch their limbs. In some cases they are completely immobilized. Bile extraction methods vary. The most gruesome technique involves forcing the bear to permanently endure a catheter inserted into it’s abdomen. Either the bear is forced to wear a metal jacket that is locked around it or they are permanently pinned down in their crush cage. A plastic tube connected to the catheter collects the bears bile. Often the catheters become infected and cause extreme pain.
The bears suffer immensely and often die prematurely from mental and physical distress and infection. Side effects include stunted growth, cage scars, limb degeneration, and hair loss. These bears exhibit neurotic behaviors including head banging, paw biting, and repetitive swaying. Teeth and claws are often removed to prevent them from defending themselves or removing extraction devices. Bear farms are operated in China, Vietnam, and Korea.

BEAR BAITING

bear baiting In the name of entertainment a bear who has had its teeth and claws removed is secured with a rope to a stake in the ground. Two or more trained fighting dogs are set loose to attack the defenseless bear. The more ferocious the fight, the greater the entertainment value. The bear’s nose, muzzle, and ears are often ripped open by the frenzied dogs. They must endure many fights to raise money for their owners. They are never allowed to be killed by the dogs because they are a valuable income source. Defenseless and fearful from previous fights, they must be dragged by rope into the arena of spectators to perform. Bear baiting takes place in Pakistan and they are illegally poached to supply this barbaric practice.

DANCING BEARS

Bear cubs are snatched from their mother, often after she is killed when she tries to defend her young. The cub’s teeth are often knocked out or sawed off to prevent resistance. A hole is burnt into their nose through the base of their muzzle without anesthesia. A coarse rope is inserted into the wound and forced out of a nostril. The nose is the most sensitive part of a bear. dancing bear By yanking the bear by the nose in any direction, it is forced to comply to avoid the pain. The wound often becomes infected making it extra sensitive.
The rope is pulled up forcing the cub to stand on its hind legs. The bear's hind paws are repeatedly struck with a club or hot iron. Some training methods involve dragging the bear onto hot embers or a hot metal sheet. The cub reacts by hopping from one foot to the other to escape being scorched. Meanwhile a drum or dancing music is played. After repeated punishment the tormented bear will associate the drum or music with pain and “dance” on command in front of an audience. Dancing bears (usually sloth bears) still exist in India. To a lesser extent it is practiced in Siberia.

skinned alive

When undercover investigators made their way onto Chinese fur farms, they found that many animals are still alive and struggling desperately when workers flip them onto their backs or hang them up by their legs or tails to skin them. When workers on these farms begin to cut the skin and fur from an animal's leg, the free limbs kick and writhe. Workers stomp on the necks and heads of animals who struggle too hard to allow a clean cut.

When the fur is finally peeled off over the animals' heads, their naked, bloody bodies are thrown onto a pile of those who have gone before them. Some are still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. Some of the animals' hearts are still beating five to 10 minutes after they are skinned. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog on the heap of carcasses who had enough strength to lift his bloodied head and stare into the camera.
Before they are skinned alive, animals are pulled from their cages and thrown to the ground; workers bludgeon them with metal rods or slam them on hard surfaces, causing broken bones and convulsions but not always immediate death. Animals watch helplessly as workers make their way down the row.

Background
Undercover investigators from Swiss Animal Protection/EAST International toured fur farms in China's Hebei Province, and it quickly became clear why outsiders are banned from visiting. There are no penalties for abusing animals on fur farms in China—farmers can house and slaughter animals however they see fit. The investigators found horrors beyond their worst imaginings and concluded, "Conditions on Chinese fur farms make a mockery of the most elementary animal welfare standards. In their lives and their unspeakable deaths, these animals have been denied even the simplest acts of kindness."

Living Hell
On these farms, foxes, minks, rabbits, and other animals pace and shiver in outdoor wire cages, exposed to driving rain, freezing nights, and, at other times, scorching sun. Mother animals, who are driven crazy from rough handling and intense confinement and have nowhere to hide while giving birth, often kill their babies after delivering litters.

Is There a Skeleton in Your Closet?
The globalization of the fur trade has made it impossible to know where fur products come from. China supplies more than half of the finished fur garments imported for sale in the United States. Even if a fur garment's label says it was made in a European country, the animals were likely raised and slaughtered elsewhere—possibly on an unregulated Chinese fur farm.

WARNING:there are some choking pictures on this blog but this is the reality and we have the power to stop it

The Mistreatment of Animals for Human Entertain

Since the dawn of time, man has had various uses for animals. Until the eighteen hundreds, the predominant use was for food and clothing. Today, animals appear to exist for another purpose: providing a form of entertainment for mankind. Using an animal for entertainment is not necessarily a bad thing. A problem arises when training practices and animal stunts cross the line between humane and inhumane treatment. When the line is crossed, the use of animals for man’s entertainment can be classified as inhumane and immoral.

Organized religion has long been the keeper of human morality. With verses in Genesis saying that God has given mankind power over everything and other theological doctrines indicating that man is the protector species and should defend weaker creatures, religion empowers man over animals as it dictates protective behavior toward those animals. Theology instructs man to never lose sight of the fact that the same Holy Spirit that breathed life into mankind breathed life into animals. Man’s dominion over animals was not given by God for their torture, but as a moral trust. (Linzey, 907-908).

Man originated in the area known as Europe. Animals originated all over the globe. At the beginning of civilization

Animal cruelty can be either deliberate abuse or simply the failure to take care of an animal. Either way, and whether the animal is a pet, a farm animal, or wildlife, the victim can suffer terribly. Don’t despair, though—anyone can take steps against cruelty.

People with emotional problems may beat, shoot, or stab animals or set them on fire. Those who abuse animals are very likely to be violent to other people—even their own family—too.
Neglect is not giving an animal the right food, water, shelter or vet care. Because their misery goes on for so long, animals who die of neglect can suffer just as much as animals who are harmed on purpose.
All U.S. states have animal cruelty laws, and 47 states treat some forms of abuse as felonies. Farmers and researchers can do cruel things to animals that other people can't do legally, but all states have some protection for pets like dogs and cats.
